Welcome back to another tutorial! Today I’ll be showing you how to draw Jimmy Neutron. Jimmy Neutron is a staple Nickelodeon character that all the 90’s and early 2000’s kids know and love. Jimmy is famous for his big hair, big brain, and all the antics he gets into. So get your pencils ready and let’s learn how to draw Jimmy Neutron!
To get Jimmy Neutron started, we will first need to draw a large oval shape for his head, and a smaller triangular shape under that for his body.
Next we will need to draw the outline of Jimmy’s famous hair. Think of his hair as a sort of ice cream cone shape.
Now we will need to draw the lower part of Jimmy’s mouth. Draw two curves on each side of his head, and a “U” shaped line for his smiling mouth.
Draw three small circles, two for Jimmy’s eyes, and one above his mouth for his nose.
Inside each of Jimmy Neutron’s eyes, draw two smaller circles for his pupil and iris.
Next, draw a curved line for an eyelid crease above each of Jimmy’s eyes, and give him two small eyebrows that sit high on his forehead.
To finish Jimmy’s face, give him a half-circle shaped ear on each side of his face, parallel to his eyes.
Now that Jimmy’s face is done, we can move on to his body. Draw two rectangles under his head to form the sleeves of his t-shirt.
To finish his arms, draw two thin arms bent outward at an angle and pointing back toward his back.
Draw Jimmy Neutron’s shorts by drawing a sort of “H” shape beneath his shirt.
Next, draw a thin leg sticking out of each side of Jimmy’s shorts.
At the end of Jimmy’s legs, draw a rectangular shape to form the upper part of his socks.
Finally, draw two large wedge-shaped shoes at the bottom of each of his legs.
All that’s left to do now is to give Jimmy a little color. Red for his shirt, brown hair and shoes, and a pale beige tone for his skin. I hope you enjoyed learning how to draw Jimmy Neutron with me. If you did, be sure to come back for plenty more tutorials. Happy drawing!
