Today we are going to be learning how to draw Peppermint Butler from the cartoon show Adventure Time. Peppermint Butler is the loyal friend and servant to Princess Bubblegum. Yes, I know… the show is a little ridiculous.

Let’s get going!

To get Peppermint Butler started, we’ll first need to draw a large circle for his candy shaped body.

As you can see, this circle has another crescent shape running along the left side of it. This shape will help to give his body a little depth.

Next, give Peppermint Butler two very thin legs that curve outward slightly, and draw a line running across his body for his suit.

Next, give Peppermint Butler two arms that are nearly the same length and shape as his legs.

Also, draw a small tail for the end of his suit coat.

To finish off Peppermint Butler’s suit, draw a small bow tie and draw two lines at the end of each of his arms and legs to form his cuffs and shoes.

Just like all the characters of Adventure Time, Peppermint Butler has a very simple face. All we need to do is draw two simple circles for eyes, and a straight line between them for his mouth.

Finally, give Peppermint Butler his trademark candy stripes.

Color his suit blue, and his bow tie red, and Peppermint Butler is complete!
